The old market town of Bishops Stortford is located 6 miles west of Stansted Airport, 35 miles north of London city centre and 25 miles south of Cambridge city.

A taxi to Stansted airport takes 10 minutes. Trains from Bishops Stortford station into London Liverpool Street takes approximately 35 minutes.
